Make sure it fits
Fits iPhone XS Max (A1921, A2101, A2102, A2103, A2104). To find yours, go to Settings > General > About and tap Model Number.

Good to know

  • Apple says that with a display it didn't make, True Tone might not work correctly, maximum brightness might be lower, display color calibration might be incorrect, Multi-Touch might not respond on parts of the screen, and the battery might drain unintentionally.
  • By iFixit's guide, move the earpiece speaker and the front sensor assembly from your old screen to the new one before you close the phone. That assembly holds the flood illuminator, part of Face ID. Disconnect the battery before you unplug the screen. Plan on 1–2 hours, by iFixit's estimate.
